Holland Point Reef, also known as “Deale Reef” is a 50 Acre site off the Deale Harbor area, located in a water depth of 33' - 36' with a bottom type of clay, and clay with cultch. The existing material is mainly concrete, and recent reports indicate that there is a large amount of soft mud around the site. Reports from divers and anglers in the area indicate that growth of benthic organisms on the reef is limited, perhaps due to water depth and low oxygen in the area. Typical fish species in this region are striped bass, bluefish, spot, croaker, and white perch. Weakfish (“Grey trout”) have also been caught in commercial nets near this reef site.Centerpoint: 38°44.60 076°29.07
