Cooler weather is on the way!!! September is the month where we see the highest numbers of bass caught all year. I have had many guide trips inwhich my clients landed over 100. Many of them were 1 and 2 lbers but at guntersville if you catch that many bass your best 5 will be heavy. The frog bite is getting better everyday, the deep bite is better than most think and schooling fish are showing up. I had 4 guide trips last week and we caught about 30 per day with the best 5 around 17 pounds each day. Best baits are frogs, whopper ploppers and swimbaits.
