The Tay, Perthshire is currently catching good autumn salmon with over 150 fish registered this week so far despite low water. The Tay can produce some big salmon and this has certainly been the case recently and even better if they fall for the fly.
This is the Red Rocks and Upper Eels Briggs part of the Taymount and Stobhall beats which is classic fly water on the Tay.
This is Joe O'Donnell with a superb 28 pounds fish caught on the fly in Upper Eels Brigs casting from an anchored boat accompanied by ghillie Micheal Brown. Well done all, one to remember!
