It has been a spectacular summer for Fishing in Galveston. As we now start the month of August, I can only see Galveston Fishing getting even better! Galveston Offshore, Jetty and Beachfront, Bays and Marshes, Night Fishing and Galveston Flounder Gigging all are producing great numbers of fish and memories that will last a lifetime!
August 1 marks the opening of Amber Jack season. These fish, nick named 'Reef Donkeys' for their incredible fight and stamina are great fun to catch and even better table fare.
Along with the amberjack fishing - mahi mahi, kingfish, ling, and wahoo fishing is incredible right now. If you wanna fill a cooler with some incredible fish to eat and will make your arms sore from the battle - give us a call and let us take you out to the blue water and catch some great fish!
The jetty and beachfront trips have been producing great numbers of speckled trout, spanish mackeral, redfish, some pompano, and other good eating fish. Also, if you want to get hooked up with a giant shark - this trip is hot right now. Spinner sharks, black tip, lemon shark, Atlantic Sharpnose and even hammer heads to 11 foot long have been caught this month! Galveston Shark Fishing is phenomenal right now!
If sea sickness is something you dont want to have to worry about, a Bay/Marsh trip is a guarantee. You wont get sick on these trips, and rough water is never an issue.
Kids have a blast and catch allot of fish. Redfish, flounder, speckled trout, sheepshead, drum, croaker and many other fish are caught on these pleasant Galveston Bay and marsh fishing trips.
