As a matter of policy we at Picante Sport Fishing, as you may or may not know, are proud supporter's of the Bill Fish Foundation and the IGFA and are 100% committed to a policy of releasing all "Bill Fish" species caught on our boats.
Well the first week of August is now behind us and it was a challenging week. There were some bright spots. Some nice Blue Marlin were caught and released along with our usual bounty of Striped Marlins and another sailfish, all caught and released. We landed a nice 180 lb. Yellow fin as well. Even a couple of Rooster fish and some Skip Jacks.
It wasn't what we refer to as a great week of fishing but it was a good week. It was a mixed bag for sure.
