Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
Well the weather has been great the last few days here while out on our Islamorada Fishing Trips. The Temperatures have gotten down in the mid 60's and the winds have been from the North at 10 - 20 mph. The seas have been 2 - 3' on the reef for the most part. The good thing about a North wind is that is blows across the Island chain and doesn't give the ocean a big swell, more of a wind chop. On the 21st the Relentless caught and released 3 sailfish, the Kalex released 2 sails, and the Bn'M caught some yellowtail snapper for dinner, a nice blackfin tuna, a decent king mackerel, and a few other bottom fish. Today, the 23rd, quite a few boats got out reef fishing in the Florida Keys. The Gon Fishin V fished a 1/2 day reef trip today and caught a few yellowtail snapper for dinner and then a big 33 lb African Pompano! The Predator also fish a 1/2 day and caught and released a sailfish early. The Bn'M and Relentless both released 4 sailfish and the Catch 22 and Fearless each released 2 sailfish. The Relentess had a bucket full of yellowtail snapper for dinner, the Bn'M had a couple yellowjacks, and the Fearless had a lone mahi and a blackfin tuna. The weather looks great the next couple days so get on out there for an Islamorada Fishing Charter!
