Yellowfin Bite Out of Beaufort Inlet

Boats had catches of around 12 yellowfins a piece, blackfins, bunches of dolphin and more. You couldnt ask for a better dayof offshore fishing. The water is warming up and so is the fishing We havent seen catches of Yellowfin tuna like that in 6 or 7 years. Unfortunately the weather doesnt look like itsgoing tolet up for the next few days but as soon as we get a pretty weather window, I encourage everybody to get out there and take advantage of some of this great offshore fishingInshore fishing is getting better also. Bluefish have shown up in large numbers with some bigger chopper blues mixed in. Sea mullet and gray trout fishing continues to get better and better around the port and in the inlet. It wont be long now before some cobia start moving in. As soon as some shad move in, we will be catching and freezing them in 12pk bags like last year.
