Capt. Glenn Clawsen with "Shammy Fishing Charters"  brought in the biggest tuna of the year here to Chincoteague a 140 pound bigeye tuna, they also had 5 other tuna and amahi mahi and mako release on a great day of fishing.

Capt. John Chenault aboard the Huntress with a successful fishing charter with a boatlaiod of seabass and some triggerfish too.  Wreck trips are available but call ahead as space is limited.

The Fillman crew at it again this time off the surf with spot and kingfish small hook nonfloaters with shrimp did the trick this morning for them!

Bob Granados      YFT     90.3 lbs took 2nd place in the MSSA tournament for heaviest tuna!

Professor Steve and crew set a long line near Blackfish Banks with a goal was to catch a couple smaller sharks for our class dissections and show my students different shark species.  We were successful on both.  Our line this year included 40 hooks and we brought 4 sharks onto the boat:  two dusky, one sharpnose, and the 6 foot long tiger shark.
