Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
We worked our way out deep, but could not find any takers. Coming back in around 45 fathoms and the 185 line. a white marlin took the starboard dink bait on the flat line. After a beautiful show of tail-walking and acrobatic jumps, we released him.
Heading in to 15 fathoms we got into some gaffers and gave them a free ride to the dock as well.
A pink bird > squid daisy chain > popper had the most hits of the day.
