Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
What a SWELL week! The bar hasn't been crossable these past few days to get out into the ocean, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been any action out there. Rather than fish hitting the docks like usual it has been boards hitting the waves. The storms that were off our coast have really brought in some massive swells and the surfers have been killing it out there!
Down here at the marina we have had some boat fish inshore yesterday and today. Catching red drum, trout, croaker, sheepshead, oyster toad, sea mullet and spanish mackerel. Don't forget flounder season ends on September 14th.
We see better weather and fishing in the near future so don't hesitate to book! Contact us at 252-441-6301 or visit our web page at www.oregon-inlet.com.
Why do surfers eat cold food?Because they hate microwaves.
