Whiskey Bayou Charters Recent Trip
On a recent trip we helped Captain Jason Catchings with longtime clients out of Florida. Tim and Mike Donovan were aboard the Majek as we made a long run South to fish some new water. We got on a steady bite that slowed as the wind picked up but they put their limit in the box in time for lunch. It was a great day with a great crew that were a pleasure to fish with! Whiskey Bayou Charters Long Run South
Monday we helped Captain Chad Dufrene of Dufrene's Guide Service with longtime clients out of Jacksonville, FL. Craig Boller, David Cooksey and Tom were aboard the Majek as we made a long run South to fish some new water. Whiskey Bayou Charters The Year of the Flounder
Monday we had repeat client Jimmy Hubbard and son Micah aboard the Majek. The year of the flounder continues as we picked up another one. Whiskey Bayou Charters Another High Pressure, High Wind Day
Saturday we had Richard Ezell and his father-in-law Raymond Miller aboard the Majek. It was another high pressure, high wind day but that has become the new normal. In spite of the weather they stuck with it and landed a couple over 8, 6 kept a few and left a few to fight another day. Some of their catch ended up at Crave with Chad Flaco Roig and crew to top off their day with a meal from their catch. It was a great day with a great crew that were a pleasure to fish with! A week ago Monday was day two for Jodi and Bob Kunert along with his sister Cindy out of Wisconsin aboard the Majek. We fished hard today, kept a few, let a few go, landed a flat fish for the topper!
