Skillful anglers hooked a lot of nice fish on Friday’s charter trip!

Apparently its true.  Fish really do bite better in the rain!  We had some happy (and soaking wet) anglers on Monday.

The first stop produced a lot of dogs and some large pollock. A big move in the late late morning got almost every angler a cod and avoided the dogs for the most part.

Today’s anglers were persistent. Aside from the dogfish the catch was steady.

We continue fishing with live bait and having success finding fish for our customers.  Some striped bass are landing in the slot 28″-31″ max  some are too big. Anglers are enjoying the beginning of cod season. Sometimes the dogfish force a quick move but nice cod are coming over the rail.
