Our outing from a few days ago was one of the most interesting ones we’ve had in a while. We were able to find a lot of life in the water discovering huge quantities of porgies and sea bass – especially sea bass. This meant that our guests were always finding steady action with triggerfish […] The post Fishing Report 9-29-25 – Full Days with Lots...

As far as weather goes it’s been pretty amazing. As for fishing we probably can’t say it’s “great” but we can say it’s “good.” As you can see from the photos many people caught fish but we found we had to search around for porgy at many different spots and all of them were okay […] The post Fishing Report 9-14-25 appeared first on Marilyn Jean Fis...

Quick update first before we talk about fishing yesterday. The day trips today – 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm – had to be cancelled for weather but the forecasts show that the night trip should be good to go so if you’re thinking of coming today plan for our 7:30pm to 12:30am trip. The storm caught a lot of us by surprise and looked for a time like it caught the fish by surprise as well. For a short while all the spots with a ton of bites and action were no longer viable. We had to take the boat and search around to look for anything that […] The post Fishing Report 8-24-25 – Settling In appeared first on Marilyn Jean Fishin...

Wow last night’s fishing was *incredible*. This had to be one of our best days in a long time. The porgies turned on the jets and took over but what made it even more incredible is that it wasn’t just the porgies. We had croakers and spots mixed in as well. How good was it? No photos from our most recent fishing trip but it was definitely a good one. Had regulars Andy and Jeremy back today. Ran offshore and found the life took a while to connect but when we did it was solid fishing for hours. Chatter purple mini and purple squids got all the bites on the troll with mix of yellowfin and bluefin. Later in day marked them deep while mahi fishing a log and had a nice BFT to 44 inches on a UVT jig!...
