Mt Martha Reef is primarily composed of rock, kelp, and seaweed with some sand. Towards the end of the season, Mt. Martha becomes particularly active. The period between late February and the end of March is the ideal time for fishing in this area. Whiting, Snapper, and Gummys are popular visitors.
