Rocket launcher woes
By
navillus
on 3/21/2011 • Views (2794)
Smaller craft with rocket launchers can have rods bounce out of their holder in rough conditions. To prevent this you can use bungee cords or create your own tie down with heavy leader and a large snap swivel.
Rod protection
By
navillus
on 3/21/2011 • Views (2506)
If you are going to ride with your conventional rods pre rigged, wrap the line around the bottom of the reel and then back up the first eye. Secure the hook to the bracing on the back of the eye. This way if the lure bounces during travel it will hit the foam cushion on the rod instead of the rod itself.

On strike the paper clip will bend and release your fishing lin...

By

on 3/21/2011 • Views (2136)
Take a short piece of PVC pipe and run your bumper line through a hole drilled in it. Tie off the bumper and drop the PVC into a rod holder. Quick and easy bumper deployment at the right height every time.
