Well Thursday we fished hard through some tough conditions with tide running strong and the north east wind cranking.  The intrepid anglers caught a lot of nice Haddock and Cusk.  A few nice Pollock too.

The Weather Bureau got it all wrong Monday when the 10-to-15-mph south wind predicted turned out to be twice that. Tuesday's forecast was terrible but it didn't turn out nearly as bad as predicted. There were no boat reports as most skippers

Capt Dave reports a tougher day than we have been seeing on the Viking Starship. We had mixed size Porgies with Sea Bass mixed in. There were limits of keeper Sea Bass with no problem. Anglers  also caught a couple of keeper Cod Pollock and Fluk

Fishing was slow to start but picked up strong around 10:00am after the tide change. A move a little farther north in the afternoon produced larger haddock and pollock.

Anglers on the Yankee Clipper are hooking some big pollock and cod on the full day trips. The dogfish are hot and cold some days we have to fish through them and move and other days we barely see them.

The Yankee Clipper and Yankee Star have been producing good trips. Anglers have been seeing a good haddock bite and some people are getting close to their limit on marathons. Pollock and Cod are coming up too.
