Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
The week has been a mix of sun and cloud. Daytime temperatures are in the high 60's and low 70's. After an early warm spring, it is feeling like summer has not yet arrived. The hot tackle right now is:
Walleyes: white jigs in 15-20 feet of water on middle lake humps
Northern pike: white spinner baits with silver blades working rocks leading into weedy bays
Muskie: Mepps Musky Killer in orange and black working the weeds
Smallmouth bass: crawfish colored crank baits are working on the rocks and rattle trap in silver and blue in 6-10 feet of water
