While his guide Troy was cooking shorelunch, Ben Eisenberg (McKinney, TX) casted off the shore and caught this huge 20 ½ inch smallmouth. It is the biggest smallmouth caught this season.
Crappies are being caught in both quantity and quality the past couple of weeks. Dwayne Gunter (Franklin, TN) & Phil Sobol (Nolensville, TN) had eight 14 inch crappies among their catch
Other nice catches are:
four 38 inch muskies were caught on Friday by Brian Garrity (Naperville, IL), Becky Nicpon (Bolingbrook, IL), John Tarantino (Winter Garden, FL) and Duck Bay guide Jimmy Van Gorp
Lou Nicpon (Bolingbrook, IL), a 37 inch muskie
Jim Hanks (Santa Rosa, CA), a 14 inch crappie
Steve Pacilio (Lawdisville, PA), 45, 41, 40 and 36 inch muskies
John Hanks (Plymouth, MN), a 20 inch walleye
Gerry Hanks (St. Cloud, MN), a 14 inch crappie
David Pratt (Detroit Lakes, MN), 41 and 40 inch muskies, both caught while walleye fishing on 8-pound test line
Steve Pacilio (Lawdisville, PA), a 36 inch muskie
Brian Garrity (Naperville, IL), a 48 ½ inch muskie
Cathy Ritter (Roberts, MT), a 47 inch muskie on 8-pound test line
Phil Sobol (Nolensville, TN), his first muskie - 43 inches
Dave Ritter (Roberts, MT), a 29 inch walleye
Dwayne Gunter (Franklin, TN), 38 and 36 inch northerns and a 36 inch muskie
