Hooking Up Anglers Since 2011.
This March has been one for the ages. We have been guiding almost everyday and the fishing has been phenomenal. The weather however has been unpredictable at times. The biggest bass landed in my boat was an 8lb 14oz fish that was post spawn. Those really big fish ease up and spawn earlier than most think and then they escape the shallows before the fishermen figure out they are there. I averaged about 30 fish a day in March and that number will go up as the year progresses. My crappie guides have been showing off catching limits most days and the size of fish shocks most customers. The crappie are around bridges, brushpiles and boathouses. We have been catching them with a 1/16 oz jighead and a Bobby garland in key lime pie and albino. Go by GTO or waterfront and stock up on tackle before your next trip.
