Gaffers and Bailers

We fished above Monitor Buoy on Sunday. Lots of scattered grass on the 78-80 degree break in 35 fathoms. Caught some nice gaffers and a few bailers. Most were caught on Eye Catcher Blue/Silver Outlaws or Supra Darts. A couple were caught on dinks.

Some of the fleet went South and there were at least 7 Blue Marlin released, a couple of Sailfish, and a Spearfish, but hardly any meat fish.

For those that bottom fished, a few golden tile fish, grouper, and triggerfish were caught.

Inshore there were some nice cobia, spanish mackerel, and puppy drum caught.
