Guntersville FIshing Charter January 16th Neely Henry bass fishing report
Neely Henry is absolutey full of bass and they are biting. I did 1 guide trip at Neely this week and 1 at guntersville. The Neely trip yielded a total catch rate of 14 bass with most in the 2.75lb range. If you think you need to fish slow and deep in the winter you better think again. These fish are in less than 10 feet and they love chasing crankbaits. Current breaks and riprap are the most productive areas and a dt8 or 7a bomber are the best baits. Even when the water clears I prefer red or chartreuse in the winter. The best way to winterize your boat is to go fishing.
