Guntersville FIshing Charter March 21st Guntersville bass fishing report: Our catch rate doubled this week.
Warm weather, the new moon and longer days have moved the bass into predictable areas. This week we averaged 40 bass a day with every tenth fish being about 5 pounds. Our best baits were a freeloader, a jig and a ratltrap. Fish are in all 3 stages of the spawn and in every depth range. You can catch them roaming under bait, in the pre and post spawn staging areas and up around the beds. As the water clears pretty much every technique will be viable. Topwater fishing will be a factor and a shad spawn is on the way. If you would like to fish with me call 256-744-5185.
