Guntersville FIshing Charter August 14th Guntersville bass fishing report: The best fishing all year.
This week we saw the water temps drop from 93 to 83 and a full moon was present. It set up the perfect storm for what was possibly the best fishing all year. I guided everyday and we caught 40 per day on average and each day my clients caught their personal best. The key was adjusting to the conditions and the behavior patterns of bass. We caught fish on deep structure using summer techniques, we caught them frogging and flipping and yesterday we caught them schooling. Guntersville is the ultimate challenge. You must have an open mind and be good at every technique. If you want to use your favorite bait or fish your favorite spot you will fail often.
