Well guys, I hope everyone of you had a great Thanksgiving and had a great November. It has definitely been fun down here. It has also been unusually warm with only one mild cold front moving through towards the middle of November. Otherwise daytime temperatures have been in the low 80s, nighttime lows in the high 60s with perfect crystal clear weather. With the unusual warm weather, we haven't seen the big schools of pilchards migrating into the bay and I've only found large schools of pilchards when I haven't needed to cast them which is just how life works sometimes. With that being said fishing has been pretty solid the entire month. Bone fishing has been red hot, snook fishing has been pretty good and I still have been finding some juvenile tarpon around Biscayne Bay. There have been nice size yellow jacks in the finger channels and the larger snappers are starting to show up in bigger numbers. I was able to wrap up the month fishing with my local client Alec and the first fish of the day was a double digit bone fish in the 10 to 11 pound range and it was spectacular! Well, I hope you guys have a great December, keep checking back as I update my fishing reports and stay warm!
