Pulley Ridge is allegedly the deepest coral reef in the US and a very long geological formation. It is at least 80 miles long with many good fishing spots along it. The far North end of Pulley Ridge is around 25º 52.0', -83º 36.0'
Weather Buoy Station 42097 is also on Pulley Ridge.
The South end of Pulley Ridge is the HAPC area, and arguably the better bottom fishing area, especially when close to the edge. The far South end is the Ledge. 24º 39.220', -83º 41.437'.
Some of the bottom fish found on this ridge are Black Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Red Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Scamp, and Yellow Edge Grouper. The South end is also a good place to troll for Tuna.
Pulley Ridge Middle is a fishing spot. An artificial or natural reef that attracts fish can be found here. This spot is known to contain ledges and/or rocks that attract fish.
