Excellent day of fishing for Yellowfin Tuna! We never had it wide open but we had a decent pick at fish all day. They bit best first thing in the morning and right at sunset. We also managed a couple wahoo. We will be starting in the same area tomorrow.

For many Georgia anglers fall is catfish season at its finest. As waters cool channel blue and flathead catfish feed heavily prowling river bends reservoir channels and lake bottoms in search of an easy meal. Whether you’re setting trotlines along the Altamaha drifting baits on Lake Sinclair or simply casting from a dock after sunset […]

October might actually be the best fishing of the year. The bass are feeding aggressively and the crappie are stacked up on the brushpiles. This week I did 4 guide trips and our average catch rate was 40 per day with our best 5 over 19lbs every day. There are 2 dominant patterns: flipping and froggin won the BFL and scoping is the easiest way to...

Lake Guntersville October Lake Update October rolled in with the kind of wind that jump-starts fall patterns on Lake Guntersville. We’ve had steady 15+ mph days from the northeast east and southeast — not a light breeze. It’s moving bait cooling the surface and getting the lake ready for the classic October bite. Numbers have […] The post Lake Gun...
