Well it worked out really well and we had a limit by 11am using Lil' Johns. I did make a stop inshore and Rena caught her first snook but just not enough tide movement to get the red fish goin...

We finally received some rain to knock down the dust and pollen while helping things finish greening up after an early start to the process. The rivers are still low and running clearer than normal for this time of year but that’s been the story since late February. Water temps are stable in the mid-50s […]

There was an outgoing tide out at Goffinsville Park when I met Paul Genn and his neighbor Jim  early this morning but when we arrived down at Spanish Drop about half the bank was exposed with shell so we elected to work the bank with  jigs and live shrimp. The shell can be kinda of a pain but most times you can bounch the jig over the shell and ha...

May is one of my favorite months to fish in NE Florida. Many of the migratory fish have arrived including Spanish mackerel jack crevalle and ladyfish. King mackerel won’t be far behind. The rain got us today but we had some fun before we got wet. I had the Weeks family on board and they had a ball. We started the trip putting a couple nice trout on ice and quality fish as well. I knew we didn't have a bunch of time before the weather hit us so there was enough tide to run inshore and let the team all catch there first snook. The...
