Hello fellow anglers The last couple of weeks have truly felt like summer in full swing with hot temperatures and late afternoon thunderstorms gracing us daily. Such conditions often bring favorable opportunities for fishing and this summer has been no... The post June 27 2024 Fort Lauderdale Charter Fishing Report first appeared on Ft Lauderdale...

Hey guys just a quick update before the weekend… It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride around here this past week or so between water temps that were too high to safely catch and release trout without undue stress thru most of the river and then some high water… We (BBT) cancelled and rescheduled […] The post June 27 2024 appeared first on Baldw...

OFFSHORE- Great looking forecast headed into the weekend. Despite really nice weather this week reports have been a touch slim (My guess is A LOT of people are getting ready for a run to the other side headed into the 4th next week). A few scattered dolphin reports out deep. Blackfin Tuna including some good sized ones seemed to pop back up in litt...

Today we focused on yellowtail and enjoyed another great day of fishing! The fish weighed 18 to 25 pounds with quite a few standouts. They bit the surface iron fly line and 2 oz sliders well. We are hoping to do it again tomorrow. TEAM RP

Capt Steven Sr reports a lot of action this afternoon on the Viking Starlite. We had keeper Fluke and Sea Bass and a bunch of throwbacks. There were also sea robins and dogfish in the mix and a bunch of spinner sharks jumping around the boat. All in all a nice 1/2 day trip.

In this hot weather taking care of our resource is imperative. The fishing industry generates 500 billion dollars per year. To put that in perspective the NFL generates 19 billion. Without the fish there is no fishing industry. If you catch a nice fish take a quick picture and release it. The tournaments at the top of our industry do a great job...

6/27/2024 Fishing Report Don't worry this king was caught before the season closed.  It's ok to be jealous also we are. Every year there is a little lull in the action around town and it seems like that lull is happening now.  The Dollies have spread out quite a bit and are starting [...] The post Juneau Fishing Report – 6/27/2024 appeared first o...

Salmonflies have popped! The past few days we have been flipping rocks and finding a lot of salmonfly nymphs on the edges of the Yellowstone. As of Yesterday (6/26) we are starting to see a lot of these emerge into dries. To find the big bugs you’ll want to float anywhere in between Gardiner and... The storms last night were mild here and mostly slid south of us. We got far less rain than they forecast so there’s little impact to the flows except for a little bump on the East Branch. However the air temperature is a lot cooler this morning. With the cooler temps we should hopefully see …

I keep expecting Guntersville to slow down but it just gets better. I did 2 trips this week and we caught 40 per day with several big fish. The grass is the healthiest I have seen it in a long time and the bass population is at an apex. We caught fish from 2 feet to 20 feet and on every stop. Our best baits out deep are a hair jig and a spoon. Up...
