Sundays Jigging trip was nothing short of amazing.  Lots of nice big pollock and one guy caught 3 Monkfish.

The pollock were attacking the jigs on Saturday’s charter.

Thursday there was a lot of action on the incoming tide.  The outgoing tide was extremely strong and made angling difficult.

The Chatham bluefin tuna are not far offshore in the fall and tend to be quite fat as they are getting ready for winter. Mike and his customers catch the big ones.

Skillful anglers hooked a lot of nice fish on Friday’s charter trip!

Apparently its true.  Fish really do bite better in the rain!  We had some happy (and soaking wet) anglers on Monday.

The first stop produced a lot of dogs and some large pollock. A big move in the late late morning got almost every angler a cod and avoided the dogs for the most part.

Today’s anglers were persistent. Aside from the dogfish the catch was steady.

We continue fishing with live bait and having success finding fish for our customers.  Some striped bass are landing in the slot 28″-31″ max  some are too big. The dogfish got us on the first stop but we were able to avoid them after that for the most part. Big cod and lots of cusk today.

Anglers are enjoying the beginning of cod season. Sometimes the dogfish force a quick move but nice cod are coming over the rail.

Half day Haddock fishing continues to be productive! There are only a few more half day trips on our schedule for this year. Don’t miss them!
